Reflection
This is a Psalm by the sons of Korah, written to God, the Lord of hosts. It was written to affirm that true blessedness is found in communion with God and to declare trust in God as protector and giver of grace to those who walk in His path.
The psalm teaches that to be near to God is the highest good; walking toward God’s presence transforms hardship into blessing; and a single day with God surpasses all alternatives apart from Him
Application
so let’s walk in His path righteously, through the help of the Holy Spirit, remember all the blessings He has given us, and praise Him for being our shield and sun every day.
